I'm guilty of taking way too many photos and videos when I travel, and then never looking at them again. These experiments started as a way to go through them, but quickly turned into me experimenting with layers, motion, sound, and texture to create new combinations.

Going through them reminds me of what I was thinking and feeling at the time, not just what I saw. I try to recreate the feeling of arriving somewhere new, that rush of excitement, being a little lost, and trying to see everything.
